My name is Betty. I am legally blind due to Sarcoidosis, a condition that took me by surprise and changed my life – at first I thought I had pink eye!

I viewed the world as if I were under water. It was a nightmare.

A few years ago I reached out to ABVI for help and received emotional support and career training. This led to my job at the Contact Center, where I’m still working on civil contracts. Recently though, my vision has worsened, so I have had to increase the magnification on my screen at work.

ABVI has empowered me to see great things through ongoing support and training.
