Lions Clubs
Our partnership with the Lions dates back decades and has benefitted thousands of people in our community. Local Lions Clubs, as well as Lions on a state and international level, have supported programs, equipment purchases, and capital projects that have impacted the lives of children, adults, and seniors who are blind or visually impaired. We salute their countless hours, the resources they’ve donated, and their commitment to furthering the mission of ABVI.
Best Buy
The Best Buy Children’s Foundation is one of our newest partners. The foundation is committed to preparing youth for adulthood through technology training. Two of our Career and Training programs, Work 101 and iCamp for Teens, have been supported by the Children’s Foundation. Together, we are empowering youth who are blind or visually impaired for a bright future.
Eastman Savings and Loan
ESL has supported ABVI-goodwill’s Scouting for Food and Clothing program which helps those in need in our community. ESL’s underwriting support of this largest volunteer project in Monroe County, impacts the lives of so many. ESL truly knows the meaning of being a good neighbor.
Delta Gamma Fraternity
The mission of Delta Gamma’s philanthropy is: to impact the quality of the lives of people who are blind in a myriad of positive ways. For fifty years, we have been proud to have members of Delta Gamma as volunteers at ABVI. Additionally, for almost 20 years, the sisters and alumni of Delta Gamma have been supporters of ABVI through their giving. Each year the local chapter of Delta Gamma has a pecan sale throughout Rochester and100% of proceeds go to programs and services at ABVI. Additionally, our dog guide fund, which provides financial support for emergency guide dog needs, is supported by this special group. People and dogs alike have benefitted from the generosity of the Delta Gammas!
